How old are you?

Someone’s age in relation to you can influence what politeness level you need to talk to them at. As a consequence don’t be surprised if they  ask your age.

Today’s useful Korean phrase is ‘How old are you?’

To ask how old someone is in Korean (Standard politeness):

몇 살이에요?

myeot sal-ieyo?

How old are you?

Formal  politeness:

몇 살입니까?

myeot sal-imnikka?

How old are you?

To reply:

저는 AGE 살입니다.

jeo-neun AGE sal-imnida

I am AGE years old.
