Not quite what we would think of porridge here, but lovely nonetheless. I like to eat mine with sugar sprinkled on top

0.5 Cup Pine nuts
1 Cup Short grain rice
3 Cup Water
1. Wash the rice 3-4 times then let sit under water for 3 hours.
2. Drain rice. Put rice, pine nuts and water into a blender and blend for 2-3 minutes.
3. Put the purée into a large pot or wok and start to boil for 2 mins, stirring continuously with a wooden spoon.
4. Lower the heat to medium-low and stir for another 2-3 minutes or until porridge is thick.
